Recycling

The collected soiled trays are completely re-processed by EPS Gardentrays International into raw material for new EPS products, or into PS granulate.

The material is ground down and added to virgin material for the production of EPS products in a range of applications.

EPS trays and packagings can also, as thermo-monoplastic, be simply melted down and granulated into the basic raw material polystyrene.

This extrusion process, whereby any pollutants are removed by filtration during extrusion, leads to a high-grade PS granulate from which new PS injection moulding articles and foil are made.
